J.D. Power

Waltham, MA (July 7, 2020)—J.D. Power ranks Commonwealth Financial Network "#1 in Independent Advisor Satisfaction Among Financial Investment Firms, Seven Times in a Row."

In the J.D. Power 2020 U.S. Financial Advisor Satisfaction StudySM, Commonwealth received an overall satisfaction score of 942 on a 1,000-point scale, compared with an independent segment average of 784, and outpaced the next-highest-ranked firm by 76 points.

Commonwealth achieved the highest score in all reported key drivers of advisor satisfaction—leadership and culture, compensation, operational support, professional development, technology, and products and marketing.

"It's an honor to be the highest-ranked firm in the independent channel for seven straight times," said Commonwealth CEO Wayne Bloom. "This award demonstrates our unwavering commitment to our advisors, and we are incredibly grateful for both their partnership and their feedback—the driver of our efforts to continuously improve and best support their practices."

Bloom continued, "Amid industry change, we’re proud to consistently provide the service and support our community of independent advisors need to run their business their way—now and in the future."

The J.D. Power study found that improvements in technology is a key differentiator for advisors. Additionally, while predictive analytics tools still have relatively low adoption levels for advisors, when used, they have a powerful correlation to and positive effect on advisor satisfaction.

Ep. 12 - Striving for Perfection

"But I thought perfect was good," I hear you say. Not always. The dictionary definition of excellence is "to surpass", it is "the quality of being outstanding or extremely good". So, when you strive for excellence, you are always looking at where you are and how you get a little bit better. On the other hand, when you strive for perfection, you are aiming at something that is so good that it cannot get any better and the risk is that you will never get there.

Happy Memorial Day!

Our beautiful Spring weather with sunny skies has arrived, the flowers and trees are blooming, and baby birds are chirping!  What a great time of year!  I am really excited to be singing with Masterworks Chorale at our Collage Concert: Opposites Attract.  Love is in the air at this spring concert!  The songs will portray the ups and downs of love, the joyous and heartbreaking nature of romance, and the mystery of attraction that spans from Renaissance chansons to vocal jazz.  Colaborating with Toledo artists including the Ballet Theatre of Toledo,  the concert will be at the beautiful Valentine Theatre in Toledo, OH on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 8 p.m.

Wishing you a safe and happy Memorial Day!  Thank you to all of our military personnel for all they have given for our freedom.

Hope to see you at the Valentine!

Happy Spring!

Such an wonderful time of year!  I am starting to hear the birds sing more and more, the flowers are starting to peek out of the ground, the trees are starting to bud, and the daylight hours are getting longer.  Speaking of light, I am excited to share my Masterworks Chorale Classics Concert with you; From Darkness into Light!  This concert on Saturday, March 24th, 2018 features compositions that express our hope for light.  One is an Easter cantata by Bach and another is John Rutter's Requiem.  The music in this concert brings us from the darkness of the tomb into the brightness of the resurrection; we are reminded of the brevity of life, and concludes with a calming prayer for hope and light eternally.
